Another season of Nigerian Idol Reality TV Show started yesterday (Sunday 23, April, 2023).

I watch the reality show because of the lessons imbedded therein;

  • It shows that you must have a vision to get what you want out of life. A clear vision is an indication to the universe that you know what you want. In return, the universe will work towards bringing all the resources (people, money, platforms, ideas, etc) your way. These young men and women go into the competition with one goal – to win the coverted prize. What is your ONE GOAL in life?
  • In order to win the prize, they will need a vehicle, in this case their natural ability, skill, passion, interest, gift, etc. Music is the vehicle that will drive them to the coverted prize. What is your natural ability, skill, passion or interest? Your gift will make way for you..
  • They are currently in the reality show to get their potential unlocked. In the course of the next few weeks they will be in the house, they will be exposed to coaches, mentors, teachers, etc, who will horn their skills and prepare them for life. None of them will win the prize with their current form. Instead, everything about them, including their mindset will have to be upgraded. Watch out, the same person (character, minset, attitude, skill, perspective – wise), will not be the same person that will win the prize. They would have all been transformed to a better version of themselves to win the prize. In order to have you achieve that ONE GOAL, you must work towards transforming into a better version of you. This better person is the one prepared to achieve the one goal. Nigerian Idol Reality TV Show is building those guys for success.
  • Success takes prepartion. In this case, they will be in the house for weeks, preparing until their lives improves. There is always a prepartion period before success. Subject yourself to adequate preparation. Pay the price to win the prize
  • Patience and Sacrifice is key to achieving any worthy goal in life. They left parents, friends and loved ones to pursue their dream. Most times you may have to give up something good for something great.
  • Success is a journey that requires consistency and constant practice. The guys will be in the house for the next couple of weeks. Practising and showing up is a vital component of success. Giving up on your dream is not an option!
  • Monitor every element about the contestants and watch how they get transformed at the concluding stage.

Those are the few success lessons I thought of sharing with you from the ongoing Nigerian Idol Reality TV Show. Apply them and watch your life soar to greater heights.
